Ghost Recon Wildlands VS GTA V Online

Today I want to talk about something that I have been thinking about since spending time with Ghost Recon Wildlands. My thought was, Is This Enough?. Now I must admit it is an enjoying game to play, mainly if you have players to play and its ok if you just have the computer AI. Not as enjoyable, but its ok. This game shows a lot of repetitive gameplay that I didn't see coming upon the games release. As always any Ubisoft game has something about it, but being repetitive wasn't something I saw in this games future. But not to waste your time, my thought was aimed towards the online mode as a whole. after playing GTA V on and off for three years, I felt like GR was missing a lot of online possibilities. For a game that possibly has the biggest map size game to date, I think it lacks A LOT in the experience department. What I mean by that is the fact that you really can't do anything outside of the missions. Could this be a slow start like GTA V had. Remember for you players that bought GTA V on Xbox 360, the game was missing a lot of key features and tasks that you are able to enjoy now. So is GR just in an infancy phase? Will it add things like racing, play created task, player deathmatches, maybe raids, or something similar to the CEO in GTA? Maybe add a mode where you can start your own mercenary/law enforcement organization and hire players to work for you to take down targets? Maybe, just maybe Ubisoft don't plan to have GR running for as long as GTA Online so they won't support as such. Maybe it's going to be an every two year game that they will just release dlc for the second year then make a new one. My thought is it is just a waste to see the online environment so empty though it is a desert land area. I think it has a lot of possibilities and when Red Dead Redemption 2 comes out, Ubisoft will see a lot of missed opportunities for their online. I hope this is not the case and they already have plans to add in more wild life and tasks to the game. But let me know what you guys think in the forum. Thanks for coming to The Lounge.
